ITT’s Integrated Structures (IS) provides design, analysis, and fabrication of advanced composite structures through a dedicated and experienced staff of specialists developing optimized, mechanized, and static structures. ITT IS is capable of designing and fabricating composite structures with High Strain, High Modulus, Post Buckled, Mini-Sandwich, Hybrid Structures etc., using state of the-art 3D design and analysis tools.
Our product capabilities include pre-preg autoclave cured structures, precision filament winding assemblies, braiding, stitching, net shaped preforms using braids and/or woven fabrics, RTM (resin transfer molding) and VaRTM (vacuum assisted RTM).
Full rate production programs including major airframe sections, missile body and wings, launch tubes, pressure vessels, tubing, satellite profiles, toroidal structures, rotor blades, airfoils/spars and aircraft engine vane/ducting components. ITT IS is an AS 9100/ISO 9001 company with NADCAP composite manufacturing certifications.
