Martintek USA manufactures high performance materials for ballistics, protection and composites applications. Fabrics include those made of aramid, carbon, S glass, E glass, basalt, HMPP, hybrids and ceramic coated fabrics used in ballistic protection- including vests, mine blasts, RPS’s, IED’s, heat and fire protection, abrasion, cut and puncture resistance for military, institutional, police and security programs. Composite fabrics are utilized in marine, transportation, wind energy, industrial, commercial and civil engineering applications. The company specializes in engineering, research and development of optimized fabric solutions for critical high performance products.
Martintek USA was founded in 2009 and operates a manufacturing facility in Leesville, SC. The plant is fully operational and currently manufactures qualified and approved fabrics for US Military applications.
Martintek USA is a sister company to Martintek Inc. and JB Martin Limited in St Jean sur Richelieu, Quebec, Canada. These companies have served the composites and ballistic protection markets in the US and throughout the world for more than 20 years.
